In the Dallas storage

So, again – and potentially for the last time in a while – I will tell you about my time in Dallas, working with storage. This has been something that has reoccurred for quite some time now. The reason for this is that I’ve decided to, in this blog, get to the bottom with some aspects of my life and myself. One part of that is to think about what I’ve done professionally. And one part of that is to talk about my time with storage in Dallas. This topic, out of all that I’m writing about, is the one that has caught your attention the most. I’m happy about that, because this was a very happy period of my life.

Last time you heard about my time in Dallas, working in storage, I answered questions. So many of you have commented, liked and shared your love that I felt like I wanted to give something back. I decided to use the blog to answer some of the most common questions you guys asked about storage in Dallas. Now that we are at the road’s end, I will do it one more time. Then I will leave this topic and this period of my life behind me. Maybe not forever, but for now!

What did you like the most?

This is such a hard and broad question but it is also the most common one I’ve gotten. I liked several aspects of working in storage in Dallas. The people I worked with is definitely one of the most important parts. Jesus, did we have fun. It was such a great time in terms of laughter and happiness. I will never forget that. Other than that, I feel obligated to tell you that the pay was good. So was the company that I worked for. I enjoyed it, pretty much all of the time.

How long did you work in a Dallas storage for?

I quit around 3 weeks before I would have been there for 2 years. That’s a pretty long time, right? I mean, from the beginning I wasn’t even planning on working in storage in Dallas. This was just something that came up and when I got the chance, I took it. I’m super glad that I did. Not only was it a great time in my life. It also taught me to trust in my own ability to choose, if that makes sense?

Well, there we go, folks. Happy to have been talking to you all about this for a couple of weeks. Maybe someone has been inspired to move to Dallas and work in storage. If so, I have a really good suggestion for where you can apply for a job!

Vad gör man inte för att vara en bra förälder? Och vad innebär det egentligen? Det är en fråga som det inte finns några självklara svar på, förstås. Vad som utgör en bra föräldraroll för dig behöver inte vara detsamma för mig, och visa... Continue →
